Since 2008, this program has trained 163 thousand young people, seeking to develop a process of personal empowerment. Tools are provided to develop a life plan, strengthen self-esteem, reinforce the right to say NO when facing risky situations, and make informed and responsible decisions, strengthening awareness of the importance of health in their communities.

Nutrition Program

This initiative aims to generate a generational impact through training in Food and Nutrition Safety for women of reproductive age, lactating, pregnant women, and early childhood children (0 to 3 years). It promotes the availability of complementary foods in the communities and boosts income generation through community entrepreneurship, benefiting 4,100 women and 2,700 children in San Cristóbal Totonicapán, Totonicapán, Guatemala.
Through direct support, the goal is to strengthen the skills of 200 women entrepreneurs in Totonicapán. The objective is to consolidate their businesses with a focus on local development and the methodology of inclusive businesses linked to export chains for income generation. The women-led businesses include weaving, handicrafts, Casas del Pollo Rey and Rincones del Pollo (local retail chicken sale), among others.

It also gives an important contribution to child cancer treatment through the ÚNETE a AYUVI – Fundación Ayúdame a Vivir – program.

Since its inception in 1997, AYUVI has been dedicated to raising funds to provide free treatment to pediatric cancer patients in Guatemala and El Salvador, giving them the opportunity to fight this disease with dignity.
