This initiative aims to support local entrepreneurs in Guatemala by offering spaces to showcase their products across multiple categories. Since its launch in 2022, it has become a solid platform for economic and social development across various communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February, Pradera Shopping Centers opened their doors to the Hecho en Guate exhibition, giving visibility to locally made products and creating opportunities that positively impact the lives of entrepreneurs and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Platform to Boost Local Businesses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hecho en Guate was born under the umbrella of the Todos por mi Comunidad (&#8220;All for My Community&#8221;) program by Pradera Shopping Centers. This space allows Guatemalan entrepreneurs to display and sell their products directly to the public, fostering national pride and encouraging local consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the first three weekends of February, visitors can explore goods created or distributed by local entrepreneurs, grouped into seven main categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Food<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beauty and jewelry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handicrafts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Home decor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pet products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00f3nica Covarrubias, manager of Pradera Shopping Centers, emphasized the importance of the program, stating that it inspires and strengthens entrepreneurship while supporting the local economy and promoting a sense of community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional Opportunities for Business Growth<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the initial exhibition, Made in Guate offers further growth and training opportunities for participants. After this stage concludes, one winner will be selected at each participating shopping center: Chimaltenango, Chiquimula, Escuintla, Huehuetenango, Puerto Barrios, Quetzaltenango, Zacapa, and Zone 12 in Guatemala City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These standout entrepreneurs will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A free physical space within their respective shopping center throughout March to continue selling their products.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Formal training through a specialized entrepreneurship diploma provided by the Juan Bautista Guti\u00e9rrez Foundation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This strategic support ensures not only temporary visibility but also the long-term strengthening of their businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Strategic Alliance for Local Development<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jjg.royalestudios.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Hecho-en-Guate-CMI-Centros-Comerciales-Pradera-1024x614.jpg\" alt=\"Hecho en Guate - CMI Centros Comerciales Pradera\" class=\"wp-image-1952\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The partnership between the <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionjbg.org\/\">Juan Bautista Guti\u00e9rrez Foundation<\/a> and Pradera Shopping Centers clearly reflects the Bosch Guti\u00e9rrez Family\u2019s commitment to Guatemala\u2019s social and economic development.
